Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs with meticulous attention to detail
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings safely
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and physical well-being
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with family members
- Implement specialized care plans for clients with dementia, mobility challenges, or chronic conditions
- Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating home environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Exceptional patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Clean background check and TB test results required
- Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays
- Fluency in English (Spanish speakers encouraged to apply)
