Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed by the RN.
- Offer emotional support and companionship through conversation and recreational activities.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and changing bed linens.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and shopping trips.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and caring demeanor.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
