Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Document patient activities, behaviors, and changes in condition.
- Administer medication as directed by RNs or LPNs.
Qualifications
- Current Maryland CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification required.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong compassion and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
