Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in assigned clinical settings including ER, ICU, Med/Surg, and specialty units
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Respond efficiently to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (Compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP preferred for certain units)
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong clinical assessment skills and medication administration knowledge
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including weekends/nights
