Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and specialty units
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatments with meticulous documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, infection control standards, and safety protocols
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS or specialty certifications preferred
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Successful completion of comprehensive background check and drug screening
