Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including med-surg, ICU, and telemetry units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations with rapid assessment
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and uphold regulatory compliance standards
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care protocols

Qualifications
- Active DC Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required; PALS preferred for pediatric assignments
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts with flexible availability
