Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including fillings, extractions, and restorations
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Maintain sterile instruments and infection control standards
- Manage patient records and scheduling software
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Order dental supplies and inventory management
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Texas State Dental Board radiography certification
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
