Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, crowns, and orthodontic adjustments
- Perform intraoral imaging and radiography with digital sensors
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Document patient records using Dentrix software
- Coordinate lab cases with technicians
- Assist in emergency dental situations
Qualifications
- Active RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in California
- X-Ray certification and CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with dental imaging software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and exceptional chairside manner
