Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments (restorative, endodontic, surgical)
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage inventory and sterilize instruments
- Document patient records accurately
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Radiology certification (TX State Board)
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
