Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures, ensuring optimal sterility
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical cases
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Administer infection control protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
- Coordinate patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- CDA certification or DANB required
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and materials
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Valid Pennsylvania dental radiography license
