Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienists during examinations and procedures.
- Perform taking and developing of dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient procedures.
- Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education to patients.
- Maintain strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Manage patient records and update dental charts accurately.
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling and insurance verification when needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Current Indiana Dental Assistant license is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with dental practice management software.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety.
