Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams, fillings, extractions, and orthodontic work
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient records and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Sterilize equipment and implement infection control protocols
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with front desk for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DA permitted)
- 1+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental safety protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/BLS certification required
