Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment areas
- Manage patient records and digital charting
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Order inventory and manage supply chain
- Assist in emergency dental procedures
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Diploma or Certificate required
- Active DANB/CDA certification preferred
- 2+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- CPR/BLS certification required
