Job Overview:
As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists to ensure smooth operations and superior patient care. You will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of hygiene and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Prepare patients for dental procedures, including taking vitals and explaining processes.
- Perform and process dental X-rays (radiographs) and intraoral photos.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols for all instruments and equipment.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and schedule appointments accurately.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
- Order and manage dental supplies and inventory.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification in California.
- Radiography certification required.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor.
