Responsibilities

  • Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Patient Care: Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort before and after treatments.
  • Infection Control: Strictly adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines for sterilization, disinfection, and cross-contamination prevention.
  • Radiography: Capture high-quality digital X-rays and process images accurately for diagnosis.
  • Charting & Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, update charts, and prepare necessary insurance documentation.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and order dental supplies and materials to ensure the clinic is well-stocked.
  • Oral Health Education: Provide patients with post-operative instructions and tips for maintaining oral hygiene.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Current Florida Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license and X-ray certification.
