Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suction management, and patient comfort
- Capture high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) and process digital images
- Maintain sterile environments using OSHA/CDC protocols for instrument sterilization
- Manage patient records and scheduling with Eaglesoft practice management software
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and equipment for efficient clinical workflow
- Provide post-procedure instructions and compassionate patient education
Qualifications
- Active Texas Dental Assistant certification or RDA status
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona) and sterilization protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and equipment maintenance
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional communication skills in English/Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical settings
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
