Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams and complex treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols
- Perform chairside assistance during restorative procedures
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charts
Qualifications
- CDA/Certified Dental Assistant or RDA/Radiology certification required
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- TN Dental X-ray license current
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards (OSHA/CDC)
- Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice software
- CPR/BLS certification
