Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and examination rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including fillings, crowns, and extractions
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Manage patient scheduling and digital records
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Order inventory and maintain a well-organized supply area
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Oklahoma
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification required
- Dental practice management software experience preferred
