Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures while maintaining strict infection control protocols
- Assist dentists during complex treatments including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort
- Manage inventory ordering and sterilization of all dental instruments
- Delieve patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using our practice management software
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry setting
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and dental imaging software
- CPR certification and BLS training current
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization standards
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to calm anxious patients
- High school diploma or equivalent required
