Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/materials following OSHA/CDC protocols
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral cameras
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment plans
- Coordinate scheduling and inventory management for dental supplies
- Support infection control protocols across all operatory areas
Qualifications
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in California
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of dental radiography techniques
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- DEXIS/Carestream imaging system experience preferred
