Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict OSHA compliance
- Take dental impressions and perform coronal polishing as permitted
- Manage patient flow, schedule coordination, and digital record keeping
- Provide chairside support and patient education on post-procedure care
- Order supplies and inventory management for clinical efficiency
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a fast-paced dental practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and imaging software
- CPR/BLS certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
