Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures, ensuring optimal sterility and equipment readiness
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical interventions
- Perform precise dental radiography (X-rays) and maintain accurate patient imaging records
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization processes exceeding OSHA standards
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Coordinate seamless administrative workflows including appointment scheduling and insurance documentation
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using our advanced dental software systems
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant License (RDA or EFDA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry practice
- Certification in radiography and infection control protocols
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or comparable practice management software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence
