Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography systems (X-rays, CBCT) and intraoral imaging
- Execute strict sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 8-operatories
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Coordinate seamless scheduling and patient flow optimization
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in Dentrix/Eaglesoft
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or Arizona State Board)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Valid Arizona state radiography license preferred
