Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging technology
- Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies/equipment
- Schedule appointments and handle patient billing inquiries
- Update patient records using practice management software
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Assist in marketing initiatives for community outreach programs
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification in Oklahoma
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
