Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory infection control protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and chairside coordination
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials
- Document patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona)
- OSHA and infection control knowledge
- Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Positive attitude and team collaboration mindset
