Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and safety
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for optimal efficiency
- Administer patient comfort measures and chairside assistance
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Active RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) or RDAEF certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in dental radiography and infection control
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside manners and patient communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
