Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Perform chairside support with precise instrument transfer and suction management
- Execute digital radiography and CBCT imaging protocols
- Manage sterilization and OSHA compliance protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinical efficiency
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate digital charting and documentation
- Train new team members on clinical workflows
Qualifications
- New York State Dental Assistant License required
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- 3+ years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography and practice management software
- DEXIS/Renaissance imaging proficiency preferred
- Exceptional infection control knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Positive patient interaction and conflict resolution skills
