Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Take accurate dental X-rays and digital impressions
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for optimal efficiency
- Provide patient education on post-operative care and hygiene
- Coordinate scheduling and maintain precise patient records
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent Hawaii license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
