Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument sterilization, patient preparation, and four-handed dentistry
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Execute infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Coordinate patient flow and chair scheduling
- Assist in dental charting using practice management software
Qualifications
- Active Florida Dental Assistant License or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging systems
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Expertise in infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software preferred
