Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Manage digital dental records and practice management software
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate patient scheduling and flow through the practice
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (IN)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental radiography and sterilization techniques
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification required
- Experience with Eaglesoft or DentalEZ software preferred
