Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as directed by the dentist.
- Greet patients, update medical histories, and explain treatment plans.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Manage dental inventory and order supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program (DANB certification preferred).
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a dental setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
