Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Schedule appointments and coordinate treatment plans
- Assist with digital charting and practice management software
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DAEFB or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in radiography techniques and infection control
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills and patient communication abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
