Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Implement strict sterilization protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Manage patient flow and prepare treatment rooms efficiently
- Take precise dental impressions and pour models
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Utilize practice management software for documentation and scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or accredited program completion
- Active CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental safety protocols
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
