Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Manage digital imaging and CAD/CAM systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance protocols
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Implement infection control protocols
- Assist with patient education and treatment planning
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current New York State Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in general/cosmetic dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- DEXIS digital imaging certification preferred
- CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
