Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorations and oral surgery
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize dental instruments
- Perform patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Assist with digital dental impressions and CAD/CAM workflows
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal operatory efficiency
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or graduate of accredited program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR certification and radiology license
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental imaging
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient rapport
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
- Experience with dental practice management software
