Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining strict OSHA compliance protocols
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage patient flow and chairside assistance for seamless clinical operations
- Implement infection control procedures and maintain optimal operatory sterility
- Provide chairside support during dental emergencies and sedation procedures
- Update patient records accurately using our advanced EHR system
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Dental Assistant certification and radiology license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix EHR systems and digital radiography
- CPR/BLS certification and DANRA preferred
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced clinical environments
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
- Valid Oregon driver's license for occasional off-site events
