Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take dental X-rays and perform sterilization of instruments
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital documentation
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Coordinate with front desk for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital imaging systems (X-rays, intraoral cameras)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- CPR certification
