Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance protocols
- Take accurate digital radiographs and impressions for diagnostic records
- Manage patient flow, schedule coordination, and insurance documentation
- Provide chairside assistance and post-operative care instructions
- Order supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure clinic efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification and knowledge of infection control protocols
- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix Eaglesoft preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage anxious patients
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
- Team player with proactive problem-solving approach
