Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Perform chairside duties including instrument sterilization, tray setup, and infection control protocols
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) using digital imaging systems
- Manage patient scheduling, recall systems, and digital health records with precision
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Oversee inventory management for dental supplies and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Minnesota
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Mastery of digital radiography and practice management software (e.g., Dentrix Eaglesoft)
- CPR certification and knowledge of OSHA/HIPAA compliance standards
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
