Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient positioning
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring (with proper certification)
- Perform infection control and OSHA compliance procedures
- Manage patient scheduling and documentation using Dentrix software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current RDA or DA license in California (required)
- CPR certification and X-ray safety certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings
