Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory hygiene protocols
- Take dental X-rays and perform diagnostic imaging
- Manage patient records using digital software (Epic experience preferred)
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and insurance verification
- Implement infection control standards per OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification (CDA or RDA)
- Illinois Dental Radiology license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- CPR/BLS certification
- Spanish language fluency a plus
