Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and perform chairside assistance
- Manage patient charts and digital record-keeping systems
- Administer patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program certification (CODA accredited preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft and digital radiography systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
