Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medication reminders and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary requirements
- Engage clients in meaningful social activities and companionship
- Transport clients to appointments and social outings using personal vehicle
- Maintain detailed care notes and communicate effectively with family members
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to client locations throughout St. Petersburg
- Clear background check and TB test results
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
