Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including chairside support, instrument transfer, and suction management
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital radiography systems
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols for all equipment
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for procedures
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Active California RDA license or Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental office
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software preferred
