Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using advanced dental software (Epic/Cerident)
- Assist in scheduling and administrative tasks efficiently
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
- Order dental supplies and maintain inventory
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA certification required
- Texas dental radiology license current
- 2+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital imaging and practice management systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Background check and drug test clearance
