Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including oral surgery, restorations, and endodontics
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
- Take impressions for study models and crowns
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DA preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience
- Certification in radiography and infection control
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- Must be available for flexible scheduling including occasional weekends
