Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures to OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for optimal efficiency
- Provide chairside assistance with advanced dental technologies (digital scanners, CBCT)
- Deliver exceptional patient education and post-op instructions
- Maintain accurate digital records using Eaglesoft practice management software
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or Massachusetts Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a fast-paced dental practice
- Expertise in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or comparable dental software
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, team-oriented environment
