Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide chairside support during complex procedures
- Deliver post-op instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental office
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Excellent knowledge of infection control protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and patient empathy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in high-volume settings
- CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
