Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and maintain treatment rooms
- Assist dentists during exams and complex procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging
- Manage patient records and sterilize dental instruments
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Order inventory and maintain stock levels
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
