Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate dental records
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and manage dental supplies
- Ensure clinic cleanliness and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or registered status in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital X-ray systems and dental software
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient communication
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
